World Skiing at its Best

If you love skiing you~ve most likely had fantasies about
practicing your sport at a world class ski resort. You
actually have a number of choices for living out your
dream. If you really want to fulfill your dream all you
need to do is commit to your idea and make up your mind to
do it. With the right attitude you may soon find yourself
at a fabulous resort in the best snow imaginable.

Aspen, Colorado is a favorite of many. Skiers from novices
to experts will have a choice of runs on four different
mountains. If you are highly skilled you~ll want to check
out the back runs of the largest, which is quite wild.

North America has yet another great ski resort, this time
located in Quebec, Canada. Mont-Tremblant is eastern
Canada~s finest ski resort that recently had a billion
dollar makeover. After you~re done skiing the slopes
you~ll want to take a side trip into the city of Montreal
which is just an hour away. Montreal is an historic and
beautiful city that has a multitude of things for you to do
when you~re not skiing.

There are two other excellent places to ski in Canada.
Banff and Lake Louise are must-visits. Both offer great
skiing and outstanding natural beauty. They are only 25
miles apart so it would be easy to experience both areas.

If Europe is your dream ski destination, make a trip to
Cortina, Italy. The ski resort hosted the 1956 winter
Olympics and is still a favorite place for Europeans to
ski. It~s situated in the Alps and offers gorgeous scenery
as well as fabulous skiing.

Kitzbuhel, Austria is your place if you have high energy
and are out for a good time. It also hosted winter Olympic
games- twice. Known as the ~Pearl of the Alps~ because it~s
a treasure amidst the mountains, hosted the Olympics in
1964 and again in 1976. Skiers have been making runs there
since 1892.

Many skiers think of Whistler/ Blackcomb, British Columbia,
Canada as the best place to ski in the world. You can ski
numerous runs on two mountains and then dine and dance in
one of more than 100 restaurants or cafes. Whistler Village
is at the base of the mountains and is as charming as the
skiing is excellent.

Start researching the many fabulous destinations to ski all
over the world. You will need time to plan your ski
vacation and choose your resort.
